Sample Post:
Heels clacked quietly on new halls as Menia walked. Was she nervous? No. Scared? No. Emotionless, yes. This was school. She could deal with school, it was just something to fill her time with. A sort of daycare, only you never came back. Menia was positive that was how her parents looked at it. She supposed it should bother her, that her parents wanted to send her away. But it didn’t, she was stronger then that. Menia gave a mental laugh, ‘How bad could this place be?’ she thought. Suddenly she tripped and fell butt first on the ground. Menia swore profusely as she got up, then took a deep breath. She could do it. It was just like another daycare, just like another school, just combine the too, and you got Perkiomen Valley Academy.
A girl stood before her looking worried, “Are you o.k?” she asked with round eyes.
“I’m fine!” she answered a bit irratibly. She was not in the mood to deal with stupid kids, who cared about her. As she rethought what she had just thought, it seemed stupid, but true. The girl nodded, obviously wanting to chat. Menia got up and left the girl. She was tired, so tired, and needed to get away.
Menia finally found a spot... a tree. The tree was large, and on school grounds. Sighing, she took her shoes off, and climbed high. O.k, not that high, but you know it was high for her. She spread her arms, as the wind rushed by, to carry her troubles away. A small smile formed on her lips and she felt more confident. This could work, this will work, she said over and over and over again to herself. She was nervous. There was no use dening it to herself, for it was true. She sat back on the tree, and as leaves danced around her, as wind played a sweet melody, as the sun lighted her thoughts, she calmed. It would be great.
